Barney Walling
I started my Air Conditioning Career in 1974, shortly after getting out of the Marine Corps. In 1977 and 1978 I attended Augusta Technical College as a Full Time Student with Air Conditioning as my major. I successfully completed my Georgia State Board of Exam and received my Georgia Warm Air License.
In 1988 I married a beautiful lady named Patricia Deese and we will be celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary on April 20th, 2013.
In 1991 I went back to Augusta Tech full time and graduated in 1993, having earned two diplomas: one in Air Conditioning Technology and one in Advanced Air Conditioning Technology. I also successfully completed my State Board Exam to receive my Unrestricted Conditioned Air Contractors License and on July 12, 1993, Barney's Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration, Inc. was born.
I have two children (a son and a daughter) and five grandchildren, with a sixth on the way. I enjoy fishing and music and am serving as the Music Director at Pine Hill Baptist Church in Hephzibah. My wife Pat plays the piano.
I'm very proud to have my son, Ray (Barney Ray Walling, Jr.), work with me. We do our best every day to ensure that our customers receive the highest quality workmanship from Barney's Air Conditioning.
